November Rain


                   

 The gusty winds in the boughs of trees,

The dusky clouds in the vast sky,

The growling thunder and the streaks of lightning,

Herald the advent of the calming rain.


Looking up gently fills you with anticipation,

that the participation of all elements,

Will heal your invisible wounds.

The splatter of water on the roof and the pane,

will make you forget your pain.


November is a gentle reminder that the year is at its end.

Compassion, gratitude, love and joy we must send,

To us, the world and the people around.

With abundant love, respect and acceptance we must surround.


Mere mortals, we come from earth and to earth we descend,

Let us all live in harmony, let us be grateful for all we have and transcend.

Let us learn from the November rain,

the lessons of nourishing lives around us.
